Financial Planning Game

Objective

Design a game for users to play the role of financial advisor throughout the years of their character’s life. The aim was to challenge users to make important financial decisions while balancing all the surprises that life can throw at you.

Result

Using a light hearted pixel art style the game is fun and challenging. It breaks down complex information into smaller digestible content. Combining the perfect amount of strategy and luck.

Users lead four different characters, each increasing in difficulty, through the ups and downs of their lives, making the best financial choices possible and minimizing the risks. Balancing happiness with financial stability helps the player know when they are on track for success.
